Hi there!  I'm Menno, a Senior Programmer based in the UK.
I focus and love on working on creating core systems. This means designing the foundation on which gameplay systems are build empowering both players and team members. This requires understanding users' needs and translating this into efficient code that sets the bar for the rest of the game. Something I very much enjoy the challenge of! As such I enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating and learning to understand what technologies we need to bring the game's vision to life.

In my free time I'm interested in everything retro games. This got me into developing on retro hardware, where I focus on low level optimizations and getting to know systems on a hardware level. I also spend my free time on language learning, crochet and whatever other nerdy hobbies pique my interest at that time.

Jurassic World Evolution 3

Description:
As part of Jurassic World Evolution 3 I worked to bring modular building to the series. This allowed both players and our artists a new level of freedom to build whatever they desire.

Description:
​Realms of Ruin is an online competitive RTS. I have been part of the team responsible for building its deterministic simulation from scratch and implementing various network features.

Bit-Buster

Description:
​Bit-buster is a local multiplayer coop game, in which you have to pass a shuriken around to kill all the evil spirits. The entire game is made out of voxels to allow for mayhem and destruction!

Description:
​Kari is a single player, adventure game in which you are stuck on the island of the Nordic gods. It's your job to complete quests given by the gods and the islands inhabitants in order to rebuild your boat.

Description:
​Rakka's Redemption is a single player game where you have to defeat evil spirits by wrapping your chain around them. Wrap your chain around enemies and the forest, and form a loop to deal damage.

Description:
​Skye is a single player, open world exploration game. You are a seaplane pilot set in the Scottish Hebrides. It's your job to carry out missions on the islands while engaging in dogfights by enemy planes.
